A New Path

This is my first painting since moving back to Norfolk so it is appropriate that I painted a path symbolizing a new direction. Actually I come back to this subject time and time again. I think I have restless spirit that is intrigued by what might be round the next corner.

Today I went for a gentle cycle ride to a gorgeous country pub with my friend Jeff to celebrate his birthday. We had a splendid ride through lovely lanes and the trees are turning the beautiful colours depicted in my painting.
